FAQ

Questions we get asked.

Everything you need to know about investing with TARE — how it works, how your money is protected, and what to expect.

It means co-owning a building that is being built, not one that already exists. You invest before construction begins, your funds go into building the property, and you own a proportional stake in it once it is complete. You earn returns from that stake through rental income, property appreciation, or sale proceeds.

Buying a completed property requires tens of millions of naira upfront and involves dealing with agents, lawyers, and surveyors on your own. TARE handles all of that. You invest what you can afford, we handle the development, and you receive your proportional returns.

Yes. Every TARE investment is structured through an SEC-licensed fund manager. Your funds are held in regulated custody — not by TARE directly — and are released only in verified construction milestones.

TARE's model is structured as co-ownership in a tangible asset rather than as a loan or interest-bearing instrument. We are working to ensure the structure is certifiably Sharia compliant and will confirm this formally before launch.

Returns depend on the specific project and exit route. Based on our pilot project modelling:

Sell after construction: approximately 4.5% ROI
Rent 3 years then sell: approximately 36.5% over three years
Rent 5 years then sell: approximately 73.6% over five years

These are projections and are not guaranteed.

The minimum will be set per project and will be accessible to people at a range of income levels. Details will be confirmed when the first project opens.

Your funds are held in a regulated structure and released in milestones. If a milestone is not met, funds are not released. The construction team is also covered by professional indemnity and project insurance.

We are targeting Q3 2026 for the launch of TARE One, our pilot project on the Lagos mainland. Join the waitlist to be notified first.
